Tokio Marine Holdings, Inc. (President and Group CEO: Tsuyoshi Nagano, hereinafter the "Company") proudly announces that its “Sustainability Report 2016” wins Excellent Sustainability Report Award in the Environmental Reporting section of the 20th Environmental Communication Awards.

The Company annually publishes “Sustainability Report” to report to all its stakeholders on Tokio Marine Group’s CSR activities for a secure, safe and sustainable future.

“Environmental Communication Awards” is an award hosted by the Ministry of Environment and the Global Environmental Forum every year, which prizes outstanding environmental reports and relevant activity reports with the aim of not only promoting business entities’ initiatives for environmental management and environmental communication, but also enhancing the quality of environmental information disclosure.

  • Considering non-life insurance industry’s business characteristics, the Company clearly aims to help society resolve social issues and enhance its corporate value in a sustainability-oriented way.
  • The report identifies three CSR core themes and material issues, and describes future-oriented CSR approach.
