Tokio Marine Holdings, Inc. (President: Tsuyoshi Nagano, hereinafter the "Company") proudly announces that its “Sustainability Report 2015” wins an Award of Merit in the Environmental Reporting section of the 19th Environmental Communication Awards.

The Company annually publishes “Sustainability Report” to report to all its stakeholders on Tokio Marine Group’s CSR activities for a secure, safe and sustainable future.

“Environmental Communication Awards” is an award hosted by the Ministry of Environment and the Global Environmental Forum every year, which prizes outstanding environmental reports and relevant activity reports with the aim of not only promoting business entities’ initiatives for environmental management and environmental communication, but also enhancing the quality of environmental information disclosure.

  • The report clearly shows the CSR and environmental issues which are connected with the Company’s Mid-Term Business Plan while considering the characteristics of a non-life insurance business.
  • Group CEO’s strong recognition on sustainability issues is observed.
  • The report politely explains the Company’s processes of identifying CSR materiality, which helps to understand the Company’s basic approach towards ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) management and strategic goals based on the approach.
