Joint Use of Information of Corporate Customers and Other Customer Organizations Within Tokio Marine Group
Tokio Marine Group has been advancing efforts to support customers’ safety and security in our insurance and other businesses, through various services and solutions “to be there for our customers and society in times of need”.
To promote these efforts smoothly and effectively, we may jointly use the information of corporate customers and other customer organizations within our Group companies. The purpose of information sharing is to develop and provide higher value-added products and services and enhance management and risk control of the Group as a whole.
Purpose of the joint use of customer information

(1)Individualized proposals, notices and provision concerning products and services offered by Tokio Marine Group companies

(2)Improvement and development of products and services at Tokio Marine Group companies

(3)Management, compliance, risk control, and other internal management functions at Tokio Marine Group companies

(4)Marketing plans and sales plans (including the selection of targets to which products and services are proposed)
Categories of information jointly used
Customer information held by Tokio Marine Group companies and to be collected from customers going forward

(A)Attributional information (corporate name, address, telephone number, and other information concerning the customer)

(B)Financial information (income, expenses, assets, liabilities, etc.)

(C)Information on transactions (types of products and services, transaction amounts, contract dates, transaction needs, etc.)

(D)Information on accidents (accident contents, the details of insurance payout, etc.)
The joint use of customer information shall be conducted under appropriate conditions, such as limiting joint use to the necessary extent so as not to unfairly impair the interests of customers. In addition, if there are any restrictions stipulated in the Financial Instruments and Exchange Act or other laws and ordinances, customer information shall be handled in accordance with the relevant laws and ordinances.
Customer information subject to contractual confidentiality obligations shall be handled in accordance with the terms of the applicable agreement.

Suspension of joint use
With regard to the item (1) “Individualized proposals, notices and provision concerning products and services offered by Tokio Marine Group companies” of the purpose of the joint use of customer information mentioned above, if you wish us to discontinue joint use of your information, please contact us at the following email address (optout_houjin@tokiomarinehd.com) and fill in the application form(Japnese Only) to inform us of your request to discontinue joint use.
Once we receive your request to discontinue the joint use of your information for individualized proposals and notices concerning products and services offered by Tokio Marine Group companies, we will promptly discontinue such joint use. Any information already shared with Group companies will be appropriately managed by those companies in accordance with their applicable policies and procedures.
However, opt-out will not apply to cases in which the joint use of customer information is necessary for purposes other than item (1) of the purpose of the joint use of customer information, such as for the purpose of the improvement of services, management control, or marketing and sales planning of Tokio Marine Group.
