    • 80K Trees

      In the U.S., recent wildfires and storms have destroyed millions of trees. To help combat this, in 2015, Philadelphia Insurance Companies (PHLY) partnered with the Arbor Day Foundation to implement the “80K Trees” tree planting initiative. Throughout this effort, PHLY and the Arbor Day Foundation has supported the recovery of devastated forests and their surrounding communities.

    • Junior Advisory Council

      Reliance Matrix launched its first Junior Advisory Council in 2024, partnered with Rider University to gather feedback on work/life balance, rewoards, benefits, and corporate social responsibility. This project aims to analyze trends and preferences of university students to inform the development of Reliance Matrix’s Employer Brand and Employee Value Proposition (EVP).

    • Social Mobility Programme

      Tokio Marine HCC International (TMHCCI) launched the Social Mobility Programme in 2024 to foster talent and address low social mobility. The program provides opportunities to under-represented youth through various interactions with TMHCCI employees. The initiative includes a four-week paid vocational experience program for individuals from low-income backgrounds.

    • Reverse Mentoring

      Tokio Marine Kiln (TMK) has introduced a Reverse Mentoring program with support from School for CEOs. In this program, the roles of senior leaders and younger employees are reversed, allowing younger employees to advise senior leaders. Participants report increased knowledge of inclusion and diversity, and greater awareness of how they are perceived within the organization.

    • Disaster Prevention Lessons

      Since 2016, Tokio Marine & Nichido (China) has conducted disaster prevention classes across provinces and cities, as part of the Group’s global “Bousai Education” initiative. Targeting preschoolers, school-age children, and the elderly, the program covers fire safety and traffic rules, including differences between Japan and China. Employee volunteer teams also contribute to building safer communities.

    • Supporting Northward Mangrove Planting Activities

      In 2024, Tokio Marine & Nichido (China) began supporting Fudan University’s “Mangrove Northern Afforestation” project and conducted tree-planting activities at the Fudan Mangrove Pilot Base in Lingang, Shanghai in 2025. This initiative, seen as a “gift to the future of Shanghai,” aims to help prevent global warming, preserve biodiversity, and promote sustainable development.

    • Safety Training For Children

      Since 2023, Tokio Marine Insurance Vietnam Company Limited has conducted disaster prevention classes as part of the Group’s global “Bousai Education” initiative. Led by employee volunteers, the program includes water safety—addressing a key social issue in Vietnam—and has reached many children across the country.

    • Lai See Reuse & Recycle Program

      Since 2015, The Tokio Marine and Fire Insurance Company (Hong Kong) Limited (TMHK) has participated in the "Lai See Reuse & Recycle Program." During Chinese New Year, used red packets are collected in recycling boxes placed in the office for reuse or recycling, helping raise colleagues' awareness of environmental protection.

    • Mangrove conservation activities

      Tokio Marine Insurans (Malaysia) Berhad (TMIM) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Sabah Forestry Department and began supporting mangrove conservation efforts in 2023. Sabah is home to around 60% of Malaysia’s mangroves, making tree-planting activities in the region a vital contribution to our shared future.

    • Family Day Event

      Tokio Marine Egypt General Takaful. hosts an annual Family Day event, featuring company tours and insurance-related sessions. Through simple, engaging activities, children gain a better understanding of insurance and the company, so that they can better understand and feel proud of their parents' work. At the same time, employees are inspired by their children’s smiles, helping them feel proud as well.

    • Auto Insurance Supporting Circular Economy

      Tokio Marine Egypt General Takaful offers an auto insurance that covers repairs using recycled parts, offering reasonable premiums. Providing this insurance helps reduce the disposal of used parts and GHG emissions while also contributing to the development of a circular economy.

    • Auto Insurance Supporting Circular Economy

      Tokio Marine & Nichido Dubai Branch offers an auto insurance product that covers repairs using recycled parts, for reasonable price.     • StreetWise Finance

      Hollard Insurance Group developed the StreetWise Finance program in 2011 to teach basic financial and insurance literacy. Employee volunteers serve as lecturers, focusing on topics such as budgeting, saving, banking, loan options, insurance benefits, and retirement planning. The program is offered free of charge in rural communities across South Africa.

      Tokio Marine Seguradora S.A. (TMSR) has run the Brazilian Seed program since 2021 to provide education and job support for young people facing social and economic hardships. Many participants have successfully found employment. The program continues to evolve, offering training in IT, business administration, and call center operations to help build brighter futures.
