Who we are
Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance Company (China) (TMNCH), is an exclusively foreign-owned enterprise wholly-owned by Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance Company (Japan) (TMNF) since 2008. The predecessor of TMNCH is Tokio Marine & Nichido Fire Insurance Shanghai Branch which was launched in 1994 and known as the first Japanese insurance company in China.
During the past more than twenty years business in China, TMNCH persists in a prudent and customer-oriented operating principle, coming out in front both in business performance and scale among the foreign-owned property insurance companies.
As a token of our strong commitment to rapidly growing market in China, TMNCH has established 5 branches in Shanghai, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Beijing and Zhejiang to deliver “Safety & Security” services to our valued customers as the Five major regional centers of Eastern, Southern and Northern China.
