Tokio Marine International Assistance (INTAC) provides 24-hour support, 365 days a year for customers who encounter difficulties while traveling overseas or visiting Japan.
Now in my seventh year with the company, I oversee the Europe region, developing and expanding local networks, particularly with medical institutions, and working closely with partners to strengthen our support framework. By staying up to date with local developments, I work every day to make our support faster and more centered around our customers’ needs.
What makes this work especially rewarding is being able to deliver what I think of as “peace of mind behind the scenes.” When customers feel anxious in a foreign country, supporting them with empathy and care is incredibly meaningful. Hearing their relief and gratitude gives me a deep sense of fulfillment.
The Tokio Marine Group’s Purpose, “To Be There for Our Customers and Society in Times of Need,” resonates strongly with my own values. Working as one team to support our customers when it matters most is something I find truly inspiring.
