Tokio Marine has been selected for the world’s major SRI Index “DJSI” for the seventh consecutive year

Tokio Marine Holdings, Inc. has been selected for the world’s major SRI(*) Index “Dow Jones Sustainability Index(DJSI)” for the seventh consecutive year.

DJSI is a stock index which was cooperatively developed by S&P Dow Jones of the United States and RobecoSAM of Switzerland. RobecoSAM annually surveys the world’s major companies and selects sustainable companies which excel in terms of economic, environmental and social criteria as DJSI’s stock components.

* SRI: “Socially Responsible Investment” is an investment practice which incorporates corporate social responsibility in its investment decision making in addition to traditional investment decision based on financial information. Recently, SRI stands for “Sustainable & Responsible Investment” which pursues both social sustainability and comprehensive corporate value in consideration of corporate entity’s non-financial information such as environmental, social and governance aspects.
